There is a hush that falls over a sketchbook at dusk, when the pencils are resting and the lamp burns low — and it is in this quiet hour that our paper dolls begin to dream.

The Great Paper Doll Escapade follows a gentle band of paper dolls who have spent their whole lives pressed flat against the page, watching the world go by in soft outlines and quiet colors. But one still evening, something changes. A fold here, a crease there, the faintest whisper of magic — and slowly, wonderfully, they begin to lift from the paper and step into a world made round.

This is a story about the courage it takes to become fully yourself, about the tender unfolding of things that were always more than they seemed. As the dolls discover shadow and shape, breadth and depth, they find that the world beyond the page is vast and lovely — and a little bit frightening, too.
